Here's a few links to the 2 UN articles and firstly the one about the child being beaten. Stephen also wrote a very interesting article in The Tablet worth looking at.

It's not just the WTS Stephen Bates has writen about, see what was the result after an article about the Cathoplic church which they didn't like.
"In October, the Vatican announced the Archbishop's departure from office as being in conformity with canon law, by which he could be requested to resign because of illness or because he had become unsuited for the fulfilment of his office.
Counsel said Mr Bates reported these facts and deduced, quite reasonably, that on the basis of the Archbishop's continued expression of good health, the Pope had requested him to resign and deemed him unfit to fulfil his office for a grave reason other than ill-health.
The Catholic Herald Ltd and the editor, Dr William Oddie, now accepted that the central facts stated in Mr Bates's article were true and that their allegation was false.
They apologised and had agreed to pay Mr Bates substantial damages and his legal costs."
Thw WBTS needs to be careful who they are messing with!!
